Happy Eyes
Titan’s Project Happy Eyes (HE), launched in the year 2013, was in line with WHO’s Vision 2020 programme of partnering with institutes of national repute, such as the Sankara Eye Hospital Narayana Nethralaya and the Drishti Eye Hospital. The initiative was rolled out in the states of Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, and Karnataka. This project aims to eliminate preventable blindness in adults and children in India. In order to continue providing effective eye care and with an aim to scale up, Titan launched an eye care vehicle called the Mobile Rural Eye Care Vehicle in the year 2019 under the Happy Eyes Project. Since 2013, the initiative has reached over 12 lakh people through screening, refractive corrections, and surgeries.
